Jabalpur town in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh sits right in the heart of the country. It is the geographical center of India with Tropic of Cancer dissecting this city on River Narmada. Jabalpur is a picturesque town with rocky forested mountains enveloping the city like a cauldron. The forests, many lakes and mountains turn this city into a paradise where ever ravages of industrialization and burgeoning humanity have not made its dent.                     
           The city is also a major trading center and producer of forest products. Industrialization is on verge of take off for private entrepreneurs. Nevertheless city is experiencing fast growth in all sectors.                    
           Jabalpur is at the fulcrum of tourist network in Madhya Pradesh. Kanha National Park, Pench National Park and Bandhavgarh National Park, Khajuraho Temples are easily accessible from Jabalpur. Pachmarhi Hill Station, Amarkantak and Nauradehi Wildlife Sanctuary are at a short distance.                     
           In tourism Jabalpur has it own to offer the World famous Marble Rock & Dhuandhar Falls. Other places of interest are Chausath Yogini, Madan Mahal Fort, Dumna Nature Reserve, Cruise at Bargi Reservoir and lots of picnic spots like the Pariyat and Khandari Lakes.
